Review: BEETHOVEN: Fidelio, Opéra de Lyon 2013
2013
- The conducting is impeccably judged. In an opera that lurches from the domestic to the universal, Kazushi Ono has identified tempi and textures that build to cumulative effect.

The INDEPENDENT - 6 April 2013

FR

- the Orchestra of the Opéra de Lyon has much merit under the subtle direction of Kazushi Ono, letting us hear the music of Beethoven with a wealth of nuances…. The Overture has both strength and a striking delicacy, as does the symphonic introduction to the second act.
